About

Our team discovered a widespread gap in trauma response: despite widespread training, over 80% of trained users and 84% of untrained users fail to apply a traditional tourniquet effectively. Although life saving in expert hands, we wanted to create a tourniquet that is easy for any bystander to use.

AutoTQ is a patented, FDA-registered pneumatic tourniquet developed to address this critical gap in trauma response. With the press of a button, AutoTQ automatically inflates to a preset pressure—reducing user error and response time in situations where seconds matter.

AutoTQ combines durable hardware, intuitive design, and evidence-based performance. Our team is committed to making bleeding control more accessible, reliable, and scalable for public safety, medical, and community responders across the country.
