Informed Consent * Purpose of the Study You are being invited to participate in a brief research study to evaluate how a training session affects participants' knowledge and confidence in using the AutoTQ® tourniquet. This information will help us assess the effectiveness of our training and improve future educational resources. What You’ll Do If you agree to participate, you will complete two short surveys: one before the training and one after. Each survey takes approximately 2–3 minutes and asks about your confidence and understanding related to bleeding control and tourniquet use. Voluntary Participation Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. You may choose not to take part, or to stop at any time, without any penalty or loss of benefits. Confidentiality Your survey responses will be stored securely. Any personal information (such as your name or email, if collected) will be used only for operational purposes and will not be included in the research dataset. Data used for analysis will be de-identified, and results will only be shared in aggregate form. Risks and Benefits There are no expected risks associated with participating in this study. While there are no direct benefits to you, your participation will help improve public hemorrhage control training.
