With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Flippo has worked in both start-up environments as well as fortune 50 companies. Mr. Flippo has experience in forming high-performance teams and has held executive roles at high-tech companies such as MobileHelp, Motorola, Boca Research, and Emergin Incorporated. He is a current member of the Board of Trustees for Florida Atlantic University.

Prior to joining Golden Hour Medical, Mr. Flippo was the CEO and co-founder of Boca Raton based MobileHelp LLC,  a leading provider of mobile Personal Emergency Response Systems (mPERS) and proactive health management solutions.  Founded in 2007, MobileHelp grew to over 270 employees serving over 300,000 clients in all 50 states.  Mr. Flippo led the successful sale of the business to Advocate Health in 2022, and sold the business again in 2024 to Medical Guardian LLC.  As COO of Emergin, Mr. Flippo led the successful sale of the business to Philips Medical in 2007.

Mr. Flippo holds an MBA from the University of Miami, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida and has completed coursework in business management at Harvard Business School. Mr. Flippo also holds 7 US patents for communications systems.
