Lt. Sarah Franklin is a SWAT paramedic at Broward Sheriff’s Office, active shooter incident manager, and certified TEMS and TCCC instructor. Over her ten year tenure at BSO, she has seen firsthand the increase in tourniquet use and failure rates. She annually holds Stop the Bleed Training for Broward County Public Schools, and has saved countless lives during her 10+ year tenure at BSO.
